Hi, Erik,
That was the wrong Martin I found. Too bad. I've tried looking for Martin,
Christian, and Jorgan in the 1920 and 1930 census data with no luck. However,
I did find this in the 1920:

1920 US Census, city of Port Madison, Kitsap County, Washington, roll
T625_1932, ED 70, page 1B, enumerated 03 Jan. 1920:

John Jorgensen (head, age 60, married, emigrated in 1887, naturalized in
1894, farmer, born in Norway), Anna Jorgensen (wife, age 52, married, emigrated in
1902, naturalized citizen but the date is blurred, born in Norway), and Fred
(son, age 13, born in Washington).

In the 1930 census Fred is a lodger on a farm owned by John Little in the
City of San Juan, San Juan County, Washington. He is listed as Fred Jorgensen,
lodger, age 23, single, born in Washington, laborer doing odd jobs.

Also in 1930, Anna B. Jorgensen, age 63, widow, born in Norway, is listed as
a guest in the home of Karl Anderson in the City of Port Madison, Kitsap
County, Washington. She must have been visiting friends when the enumerator
arrived. From this we can surmise that John died between 1920 and 1930.

The big problem here is the gap between the 1880 and 1920 census data, both
of which have indices I can access. What is need here is someone with access
to a US 1900 or 1910 census index. Perhaps another lister can step in here and
help you, Erik.
