I found your Christian in 1910 in Stanwood, Washington. By then he had nine living children:
NA film T623-1750. Stanwood Precinct, Snohomish County, Washington, Supervisor's District 1, Enumeration District 212, Sheet 6B.

Jorgensin, C., Head, born Mar 1847, 53, married 22 years, born in Norway of Norwegian parents, immigrated in 1868, 32 years in U.S., [illegible whether naturalized], Farmer, owns home.
Christina, wife, b. May 1858, 42, married 22 years, mother of 11 children, 9 living, born in Norway of Norwegian parents, immigrated 1860, 40 years in U.S.
Joergen, son, b. Feb 1880, 20, farm hand
Gustar(?) B., son, b. Feb 1883, 17, home education
Petrine, daughter, b. Feb 1885, 15, home education
Herman, son, b. May 1886, 14, home education
Hannah, daughter, b. Dec 1887, 12, home education
Maria, daughter, b. Feb 1889, 11, home education
Bertha, daughter, b. June 1890, 9, home education
Axel R., son, b. June 1894, 5, home education
Adolph, son, b. May 1898, 2.

All children born in Washington of Norwegian parents. The ages were as of their last birthday. The census was taken in June, 1900.
