Nancy, this info is from Ancestry.com, as you can see the information
matches your Sylvester Rue except for the fact he would have only been
12 in 1914. Are you sure that the wedding took place in 1914? Sylvia
was born in 1942. Good luck in your search.

I'm trying to track down a Rev. Sylvester Rue, wife, Margarite. Can't
seem
to find them on any census record.
He supposedly married Peder Fostervold and Olga Skjearvik in 1914 at the
parsonage. I have it that their daughter, Sylvia was the flower girl in
the
marriage. He was a minister in either Minnepolis or Wisconsin at the
time.
Sylvester was at one time the minister at the old Bethesda Home near the
Eagle Lake Lutheran Church, Willmar, Minnesota. Sylvia is the one who
told
my aunt that she was the flower girl at the wedding of Peder and Olga.
I
found a Sylvester who was born in 1902 and died in 1980, but that
couldn't
be right, he would have been only 12 in 1914.
