There were many from unrelated line who married to the
old Kile family/line. And as such, acquired or released sections of the old properties in Kilen.
Of these, Olav Gunnulvsson is one who has a large descendancy.
He was descended from Røymal in Flåbygd, and was probably born there,
and a part of an old Kviteseid family. His father was Gunnulv Olavsson from Røymål
(with the reservation that there is no parish record to confirm this).

Not too sure of the exact wording, but the gist is that there was some kind of
boundary dispute and Gunnulv married a Swedish girl, Anna Sarett.
How much of this is true is not known.

Olav Gunnulsson (should therefore be the son) came to Kilen at some time after
1700. He was most likely married three times, two of the marriages were with Kilen-
descendant women.
