Wanda, I have a Skjåk request. Any information you can provide will be
helpful in my family research. I have a first cousin twice removed that I
believe was at the farm Brodal in Skjåak. He was Jakob Nilsen, Brodal i
Skjåk, f. 1852, g. Anne Olsd. Skjåkodegård. His siblings were Ole Nilsen f
10 02 1858 and Poul Nilsen f 17.12. 1863. Poul went to Brocket, ND. He was
Paul Nelson in ND. Their father was Nils Jakobsen Jeilen f 1821. g. Anne
Olsdatter f. 1824. Nils Jakobsen was my ggfather's (Ole Jakobsen b 1817)
brother. I would like to fill in/confirm some of the blanks such as
children of Jakob Nilsen, birth dates and emigration dates. I believe the
children were Nils b 1882, Ole b 1889 and Ragnhild b.1895. I believe Ole
and Ragnhild both emigrated and came to ND in the area of Brocket. Can you
help verify some of this information. Thanks in advance. Norris Olson in
