Thank you again Olaf. I have some more information to be translated but I will do it tomorrow. I print all the translations and save them in my notebook until I can copy them to my PAF files for the families on these farms.

Documents about Bjland can be found from the time of the Black Death. But
any connection to family or descendancy cannot be found before 1555. That
year Tore Egilsdotter is mentioned as "odelskvinde" (freeholder). She sold a
"markebol" (a mark's value) in Midb, an ancient part of Bjland, to Olav
Tormodsson of Kleiv. She is probably the mother of Asbjrn, who this family
begins with.
