Norris,
I did some more looking and found a reference to what appears to be the
family. I tried looking under the Skjåkodegård farm but had no luck. In
the front of the book is a list of farms and other names for them. In the
list was a Skjåkøygård and the other farm name was Skjåk so I tried those
farms. Under the listing for Skjåk III øvre, the following is shown:

Anne, f. 23/2/1840 (Brudal), g. 11/5/1876 Jakop Nilsen Gjeilen frå Vågå, f.
1852 (s.til Nils Jakopsen Genilen). Barn: Anne, f. 1/5/1875; Anna, f.
20/6/1877; Kari, f. 6/8/1880; Nils, f. 22/6/1883; Marie, f. 24/4/1886; Ola,
f. 8/5/1889; Ragnhild, f. 16/2/1896

Anne's ancestors are also listed but there is nothing more on her children.
I am not sure what the parentheses around Brudal means as usually when they
are listing a farm name it simply follows the name without parentheses. If
you want, I can scan the pages for that farm and email them to you. I
don't see any other reference to Brudal and still can't find it in any
listing of farms.
