GAS POISON KILLS MAN - John DONLON, 45, of 173 Kingsland avenue, was accidentally killed by gas poison last night, while sitting in the kitchen of his home. A doctor from Greenpoint Hospital was called, but DONLON was beyond aid.
HEART ATTACK FATAL - Charles FLYNN, 50, of 145 Marion street, collapsed today while working in a building at 36 Flatbush avenue and died. Dr. GIORDANO, of Cumberland Hospital, said death was apparently caused by heart disease.
AUTO KILLS WOMAN, 88; WOMAN DRIVER IS HELD - Nina HAPPE, 88 years old, of 103-02 One Hundred and thirty-second street, Richmond Hill, Queens, was struck and killed last night by an automobile as she was crossing Van Wyck avenue at Liberty avenue, Jamaica. The automobile was driven by Mrs. Antoinette MARGO, of 145-01 One hundred and fifty-sixth street, Jamaica. Mrs. MARCO was arrested on a charge of homicide after Dr. TENKS was called from Jamaica Hospital, but found Mrs. JAPPE was dead. [Deceased's name spelled 2 different ways in article.]
SKIDMORE FUNERAL SERVICES TOMORROW - Funeral services for Mrs. Amelia SKIDMORE, mother of Chief A. W. SKIDMORE, of the Nassau County police, will be held tomorrow at her home, 523 Solomon avenue, Inwood, it was announced today. Mrs. SKIDMORE, who was 80, died last night. Her son and three daughters survive. Burial will be in Canarsie Cemetery.
REQUIEM MASS SAID FOR FRANCIS MARESCA - A solemn mass of requiem was said at 10 o'clock today at Sacred Hearts Church for Francis MARESCA, 14 years old, a boy scout of Troop 92, who died Friday at Camp Molloy, Mattituck. The boy was the son of Mrs. and Mrs. Anthony MARESCA of 72 President street. Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery.
