The information below about Kings County Surrogate's Court is from "Genealogical Resources in New York," edited by Estelle Guzik and published by Jewish Genealogical Society in 2003. See http://www.jgsny.org/newbook.htm if you'd like to see information about how to purchase this extremely useful and thorough book.
"Fees/Copies:
Photocopies can be made in this room at $.15 cents a page. For mail requests (even when the file number is provided by the researcher), the fee is $25.00 if the record is less than 25 years old, and $70 if it is more than 25 years, plus $5 per page for a certified copy."

This link provides the information for the Brooklyn Surrogate's
court. A simple google search would have gotten you to this
link.
