Matty--Branca's was on Ave. U? They sold those pointy shoes all the guys
wore in the mid 1950s to go with the peg pants, pistol pockets, and "Picks". You
had to be dressed right for the Friday night Confraternity dances at St.
Thomas Aquinas on Flatlands Ave.
