I am searching for anyone who might have information on the Baldauf/Baldauf
family. They lived in Kings County. There was many brothers and my
GGgrandfather married a woman named Barbara (Babette)Marie Vittalowitz (not
sure of spelling) in 1849. I am trying to find out if Barbara known to all
as Marie or Babette came over with (George)Friedrick from Germany or not.
Her naturalization papers say she was the king of Prussia and we cant find
any information on this woman. Not even a birth certificate.
Can anyone help me finding out where in Bavaria, Germany I can write to get
a birth certificate.
