Hello fellow "Rooters",

This is my first posting on this list and its a long
shot. I need someone to please look up Henry
Slack, in ,I hope Kings county. I know nothing
about him,his family or siblings until he moved to
Hunterdon county N.J.@ 1825-1830. The only clue I have
is a N.J. census posting that says hes from N.Y. A lot
of the Slacks that occupied Hunterdon county N.J. came
from Kings and were desendants of Dutch
Slacks(Slaght/Slecht).I'm not sure of the dutch
connection Im just playing a hunch. He may have had a
brother named Philip,Fred,Martin,Allen, or
Richard.This is my Brick Wall and all leads so far
point to this N.Y. connection.Also,if there are other
Slack or Dutch reserchers on this list contact me.The
Rootsweb archives are down right now so I am unable to
read past submissions till they get it together.
