Hello list,

Can some kind soul tell me how old a young man must have been in 1676 to
have been included as a "poll" on the tax assessment list of Brooklyn?
(I have tried searches, libraries and other resources to no avail and would
really appreciate the help.) Is the same true in the census of 1683? Must
a woman have been a widow and, therefore, property owner, to be included?
