The construction of the Tower Building at 50 Broadway, Manhattan, NYC is
also described in Edward Robb Ellis: The Epic of New York City, Kodansha
America, Inc. 1997.

In the book they indicate the owner as being John L. Stearns. I am a direct
lineal decendant of John Noble Stearns, and would like to confirm that
these two John Stearns are one and the same.

By the way, there is a large contingent of the Stearns family, including
four of his great-grandchildren, alive and well in NJ.
