Surname: SELLARS, SMITH

I am trying to find information on my great-great grandparents. Both William
Sellars (Haverstraw,NY b 3/28/1838; d 2/25/1915 in Brooklyn, NY) and Elizabeth
Evelyn Smith (b 7/1844 in Mass.; d 4/2/1913 in Farmindale, NY) spent their
adult lives in Kings County, NY. In William SELLARS' Civil War Pension
files it is stated that he and Elizabeth were married on 9/1/1862 by Rev
Horne. I need help in finding the church affiliation so I can obtain a
copy of their marriage certificate. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I also need to find out what county Haverstraw is in so I can try to locate
William's birth certificate. Thanks for you time.
