Flushing is in Queens County, not Kings Co. There was a village of Flushing
within the larger town or township of Flushing. Suggest you post your queries
on the Queens Co. site. There was a Stebbins family in the Flushing village
area in late 19th/early 20th centuries, and there is a Stebbins connection
with the prominent colonial Bowne family of Flushing. You can also write
Queens Historical Soc., 143-35 37 Ave., Flushing NY 11354 and/or Greater
Ridgewood Hist. Soc., 1820 Flushing Ave., Ridgewood NY 11385, for Stebbins
info possibly in their files.
