George, thank you for clarifying the Flushing situation for me. On my grandfather's
birth certificate, his father's place of birth was listed as Flushing,
Kings Co., NY, so the village of Flushing makes more sense now. It was
very confusing!!! I will pursue the leads you have given me and again,
many thanks!
