Surname: Sullivan
-------------------------

Any Sullivan listings would be of great help, as we only have "grandpa
told me" stories and names/nicknames to go on. Apologies for the length
of this post, sadly it's all we have.

Frances Edward Sullivan "Frank" b. 1909, lived in NYC & Brooklyn most of
his life. He spoke of his father, Timothy Sullivan (m. Margaret O'Connell?)
who was a well-to-do business owner. The business was later lost in a fire.
Recurring given names are Timothy, Edward, Frances, Will(William), James,
and Albert. Others include Margaret, O'Connell, Mae/May, Aggie, and Timothy
Lucy(?)

Frank married Ann (Anna Teresa) Catonese (sic) b. 1911 in Brooklyn to affluent
Sicilian parents. Mae was probably Frank's aunt (Timothy's sister) and
was said to have been a dancer/follies girl. The business was possibly
a livery or trucking business. He spoke of "politicians and gangsters"
sitting together at his dining table and being taught to box by "Terrible
Terry McGovern" during his boyhood.

His stories were colorful and interesting, but don't seem to be helping
us. Any Sullivan listing or lead would be more than we have now. Thank
you for any assistance you can offer.
