Built in 1919 by the Pennsylvania Railroad, New York's Hotel Pennsylvania
is one of New York City's largest hotels. Designed by the renowned firm
of McKim, Mead and White, which also completed other landmark hotels such
as the Waldorf Astoria.

Bounded on the west by Seventh Avenue and on the north and south by 33rd
and 32nd Streets respectively, the building was erected on a site measuring
200 x 400 feet. It has 22 floors from street level to roof inclusive and
three levels in the penthouse.
