Surname: McCracken, Hass, Brownlee, Leith

I am looking in particular for Malcolm McCracken who moved to Kings County
(Brooklyn) from Albany in 1870

after the death of his wife, Annie Cowieson and a child. Annie and Malcolm
were married in NYC (possibly in

Brooklyn) on Aug. 23, 1854. Malcolm was a carpenter. He left his children,
Ella Jane and Walter back in Albany

with the Cowieson family. Possibly he was drawn to Brooklyn because his
friends, Henry Hass and Robert

Brownlee lived there. Any information on any of these folks would be greatly
appreciated.
