Surname: MENDELSOHN, SCHANTZ, CEDARBAUM, JACOBS

My grandparents lived all their lives in Brooklyn/Kings Co. and I am looking
for family connections to exchange genealogy information. My grandfather
was Henry MENDELSOHN and he came to NY from Romania/Russia with his brother
Max and his sisters Clara and Gussie. I don't know if his parents came
also but they were Samuel MENDELSOHN and Freda GREEN. Henry married Sadie
SCHANTZ before 1912 and they had 4 children: Grutrude, Florence, David
and Murry who are twins ( David is my father). Sadie came to NY from Galicia/
Poland/Prussia with her parents Joseph SCHANTZ and Ida/Annie . Joseph and
Ida had 5 other children:Hannah (also known as Jenny), born Apr23,1898,Jacob
( known as Jack)born Dec 1899, Nathan,born Sept19,1902,Cecilia born abt
1906, and Harry who was killed in England during WWII. My grandmother Sadie
was the only one not born in the U.S. Cecilia married Max CEDARBAUM in
1929,and Hannah married Isadore JACOBS. Anyone who would like to exchange
any information I would be happy to make contact with you!
