Would like info on Camp Chase or where to find. I found a listing on an
article "About Six Acres of Land Camp Chase Civil War Prison" for a vol
of the Ohio Historical Society - vol 11, no 5 Sept-Oct 1994. My
GRGR-Uncle Jacob Parks Lindsey was a confederate prisoner there. He
survived and lived to 1914 in GA.. I have found some listings on the
cemetery but would like to find info on all the soldiers and a possible
list with his name on it. Also there is a book "Story of Camp Chase" by
William H. Knauss. Any help would be much appreciated. Anyone
researching NC: I go to the archives in Raleigh almost monthly. If I
can be of help please let me know. I know how frustrating it is to try
to locate info when you are in another state.
