The annual "Spring Jamboree" will be held on
Saturday, 1 April, 2000 at the Piqua High School on Looney Road --
8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
This is sponsored by the genealogy societies in this area.

The featured speaker is John T. Humphrey from Washington D.C.
speaking on 18th century research and German Research.
Other quality speakers will cover topics from geting started to
Wars (Revilution to Civil), Native American History,
Computers in Genealogy, and Afro-American research.

Sharon DeBartolo Carmack is a Certified Genealogical Specialist and a
Fellow of the Utah Genealogical Association. She is a
frequent Lecturer at local, regional, and national conferences, having
spoken to genealogical and historical organizations in more than 25
states. She is the author of several books, and writes a quarterly column
for Reunions Magazine and the FGS

Forum. She is consulting editor for Newbury Street Press, the publishing
imprint of the New England Historic Genealogical Society. She serves on the
Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation's History Advisory Council. She
is editor of SPEAK!, the newsletter of the Genealogical Speakers Guild, and
immediate past editor of the Association of Professional Genealogists
Quarterly; for which she received APG's Grahame Thomas Smallwood, Jr. Award
of Merit (1990) and the Federation of Genealogical Societies' Award of
Merit (1992). She brings many writing, lecturing and genealogical research
skills to this conference
