I am searching for descendants of Rev. David J. Jenkins, son of James and Jane JENKINS of Oak Hill, OH. The family moved to Columbus following his death. He was born 1832 in Cardiganshire, Wales, emigrated in 1837. Buried at Horeb Cemetery in 1890. Spouse- Elinor (or Ellen) Davies. Children: James D. Jenkins (1854-1921), Thomas D. Jenkins (1858-1916), Mary JONES (1860-1911), Jennie Jenkins (1863-1938), Margaret LEWIS (1865-1937), Elizabeth Jenkins (1868-1937), Ed Jenkins (1870 - 1946), Kate HERBERT (1872-1947), David Jenkins (1874-1921), and Elmer (or Evan) Jenkins (1879 - 1939). Rev. Jenkins was a Welsh Calvinist preacher in the Jackson County settlement, killed by a train in Hamden. Many of children were buried in Columbus, OH. I believe there are descendants still in Franklin County. Any information appreciated.
