RICHARD P. DAVIES
In failing health for several years, Richard P. Davies, aged 70 years, passed
away in the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Moran, Columbus, Tuesday morning
from complications. He had been seriously ill for only a few days. He is
survived by his wife, Mrs. Josephine Davies, and another daughter, Mrs.
Willis Smith of Newark, three sons, Walter, Rich and Edward, all of Columbus;
four brothers, David, Thomas,
John, and Walter, and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Davis, all of Columbus. Two
weeks ago another sister, Mrs. T. M. Jones of Columbus, passed away. The
funeral will take place at 2 p.m. from the home of Mrs. Moran and the
interment will be in Green Lawn Mar. 20, the R.E. Jones and Son Co. in
charge. Mr. Davies had been retired for about 10 years.
