Kathy ~ I've corresponded with you before, but I'll recap what I know about
Charity.

Charity was one of 13 children born to John Osburn (1801-1880) and Elizabeth
Smith Osburn. Her birth date was April 25, 1839. She married John Berryhill
on March 1, 1866, in Putnam Co. Ohio. I do not know her death date, but she
was still alive in 1928 when her youngest brother died as she is mentioned in
his obit as surviving him and living in Butte, Montana. Her last name was not
given in her brother's obit.

Charity is the sister of my gr-grandfather and I have further information on
the other siblings, if you're interested. The family is in the 1850 census in
Coshocton County, Ohio and the surname is spelled Osbern. By the 1860s the
John Osburn family is in Putnam Co where many of the children marry and
settle. Four of Charity's brothers were in the Civil War, enlisting in Putnam
Co.
