Funeralo services for Ruth Elsie Hagebusch Hutton, 96, Nowata resident
who died at Jane Phillips Nowata Health Center Sunday, April 8, 2001, will
be at the First Christian Church in Nowata at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 11
with the Reverend Ron Hight officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial
Park Cemetery in Nowata under the direction of Benjamin Funeral Service
in Nowata.

Ruth was born at Eagle, Indian Territory (What is now Craig Co.) to Hubert
and Jennie Paret McKibben. She lived all her life in Nowata County. Ruth
first married Edward Garret Hagebusch on December 24, 1924 at Nowata. He
died February 13, 1973; she later married Melvin L. Hutton and he preceded
her in death on April 5, 1999.

Mrs. Hutton was a homemaker and a charter member of the Church of the Nazarene;
Sunday School teacher and WWI Auxiliary member; she had been a church treasurer
for 6 years and Missionary President for a number of years.

Friends who wish may give to the Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by three sons; Delos L. "Dee" Hagebusch and his wife, Norene
of South Coffeyville; James Edward Hagebusch and his wife, June of Nowata;
Lindell L. Hagebusch and his wife, Alice of Nowata; 15 grandchildren; 31
great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; numerous step-grandchildren
and step-great-grandchildren and one brother: Chester McKibben of Dallas,
Texas.

She was preceded in death by both husbands; a daughter: Janilee Reeves
on August 1, 1983 and a great granddaughter, Amy Hannigan; a brother, Clifford
McKibben and a sister, Edna McKay.
