Quite interesting. We have a Julia O'Leary born about 1800 who was married to
Denis O'Leary then to Timothy McCarthy in Ardfert, County Kerry. She also
emigrated through New Orleans in 1849 settling in Monroe County, IL near
Saint Louis. She later moved to southeast Kansas where she died in 1875.
There were a fair number of O'Leary's in Kerry, so don't rule it out.
