Bob,
You are correct that the listing should read "Pace, Lucinda G.
Strickland..." I don't know what source was used for the St. George
Cemetery listing posted a few days ago. I have visited the cemetery and
have posted a picture of Lucinda's gravestone on my website. A link to that
picture and also a picture of Lucinda Gibson (Strickland) Pace is found on my
webpage, link listed below:

Hope this helps.

In a recent message Porter Rockwell (PR) submitted a list of
cemeteries in Utah. Thank you PR.

In the St. George Cemetery there was a listing "Pace, Lucinda C.
Strickland, 16 June 1805-11 Mar 1897". I wonder if this could be
Lucinda Gibson Strickland, first wife of James Pace, son of the James
Pace that died in the battle of New Orleans. They were married in
Rutherford County, Tennessee, moved to Illinois, then to Utah with
the Brigham Young move there.
PR, the initial "C" is the uncertainty. Can you cite the source of
the St. George Cemetery list, and is it possible the initial should
be "G"?
Thank you.
