Recently the book Albion's Seed was mentioned in a post. This
book is a MUST for all serious colonial Virginia researchers. The 200
plus pages on Virginia, details the customs, teachings and attitudes
that prevailed in the colony in their social, religious, political,
cultural and educational lives. We need this to correctly evaluate and
analyize the records found during this time period. We should never
analyize or evaluate them in the light of current standards.
