In reviewing Family Puzzlers I came across the following in
number 1485 of April 5, 1997, pp. 15-19: transcriptions of
family Bibles of William Smith and Lucretia Pace. According
to the submitter, their daughter Amanda Palmyra Smith was
born in Newton Co., GA 1839.
William Smith Oct. 15, 1803
Lucretia Pace Nov. 26, 1807
William Smith and Miss Lucretia Pace married Oct. 30, 1822
The original 1845 Bible was placed at the First Baptist Church,
Waco, Texas by Ed Poe.
There are 6 pages from this family's Bibles. Most of the
surnames are Smith, Wood, and Elliott. There are no other
Pace surnames, but presumably they are Pace descendants.
