Response to Elborn Mendenhall:
You said: some one with the wrong death date for Benjamin Pace did a DNA
test, which shows that
this line goes back to John of Middlesex.
I found that error and corrected it. I believe it was a substitution of a 5
for a 3. An easy mistake to make.
I can put you in contact with that person if you will email me privately at
Because of privacy concerns of course I cannot put his
name or email online.
The Pace DNA study is at http://www.pacesociety.org/DNA/
You can go from there by links to the Results page with a menu of the
various lines, then to each line, in this case John of Middlesex.
For the donors page go to http://www.pacesociety.org/DNA/donors.html
John of Middlesex Paces can also be identified to some degree by their
migration route. Most Kentucky Paces are John of M. then from there many of
them went on further west. The North Carolina Paces tended to swing further
south. This is of course a broad generalization not a given.
Some descendents of both branches ended up in Texas.
