Messages from the Blair family DNA site indicate a less prominent
connection. There were Blairs in Pittsylvania County where my Paces were,
not related to this James Blair, and some of them did marry Paces. So
probably my ancestor's middle name came from one of those Pittslyvania
Blairs.

Hard to tell about middle names. I am Roy Warren Johnson, my grandfather is
George Warren Pace. No idea where that came from.

Thanks for the advice.

Roy

Roy: Go to Wikipedia James Blair, Virginia. Much info! He and wife are
buried in Jamestown. Origanal grave stones are in Swen Library at Wm. &
Mary. Come see us we will show you around. Jack Pace / Wms-burg.
