That's good to know, thanks! Maybe, if we can get some male Pace's from
Edmond's line to test, we will find out someday. Edmond was my 5th G Grandfather
on my mother's side. Julie

As far as I know, there is no direct evidence that Alfred was the son of
Edmond. The Carrie Pace letter does not name him. Bruce Howard CLAIMS he is
Edmond's son, but furnishes no evidence for this connection. I THINK he is
assumed to be Edmond's son because Edmond was the only known Pace in Surry
Co. at that time who could have qualified as his father.
