The William H. Pace on the 1900 census of Montgomery Co, MD was William Hamilton Pace b. 8/11/1839 in Lancaster Co, VA. He was a son of William Kemp Pace b 2/12/1809 m. Ann Chowning. He was a son of George Sanders Pace b abt 1775 of Middlesex Co, VA. This goes back three more generations to John Pace of Middlesex. Info on some of this family came from a family Bible.
