Here is the new and updated information now on Sarah & Lewis Pack:

Lewis Pack SR born May 1865, died aft 1900; son of William H Pack and Frances
Harvey (daughter of Richard and Dorothy Harvey); married to Elizabeth A Meador
on July 24, 1884; daughter of Joab "Jacob" Meador and Lydia Lilly; their
children:

Ocia V Pack born Nov 1886
Elizabeth D Pack born Feb 1889
W. Vow Pack born Dec 1891
Sarah F Pack born Apr 1892
Lewis A Pack born Sep 1893
Nannie B Pack born Jun 1895
James S Pack born Feb 1897
Arthur Pack born Jul 1899

Other information pertinent to the recent correspondence:

William H Lilly and Margaret Dunbar had a daughter named Ida Luzerne Lilly who
married Riley Pack in 1899, the son of Wilson Pack and Chesnelia (LNU); and a
son named John Pritchard Lilly who married Elizabeth B Pack. John born abt
1861, died 1935. Elizabeth born Apr 1869, died 1950. Elizabeth was the
daughter of James M Pack, the son of John Pack and Elizabeth Dell Harvey, and
Jane Goodall.

As for why Sarah F Pack was living with William H Lilly and his wife, I have
no idea. Loretta seems to think that children were boarded out to help with
older folks in the area and to bring in money for the family. That sounds
good enough to me. If anyone has anything else to add please let me know.
