Hello All,

Here is another service record I found in the Lawrence County, KY
Courthouse. Does anyone know who this John PACK is? I haven't been able to
pinpoint who his parents are.

Name – PACK, John Army Serial No. – 1,997,919 White or Colored – White

Residence – Louisa, KY

Inducted at – Louisa, Ky on Feb 24/18

Place of birth – George Creek, Ky. Age or date of birth – 24 1/12 yrs

Organizations served in, with dates of assignments and transfers:
29 Co 8 Tng Bn 159 Dep Brig to Apr 24/18; 15 Co 2 Inf Repl Regt Cp Gordon Ga
to May 21/18; Co C 115 Inf to Disch.

Grades, with date of appointment: Pvt 1cl Sept 1/18; Pvt Mch /19

Engagements:

Wounded in action (degree and date): Slightly about Oct 23/18

Served overseas from June 15/18 to May 24/19

Honorably discharged on demobilization: June 3/19

In view of occupation he was, on date of discharge, reported 0 per cent,
disabled.

This sheet is a copy of the card which was furnished to the Adjutant General
of Kentucky by the Adjutant General of the United States under Act of
Congress, July 11, 1919, and the above record has been copied by the
Kentucky Council of Defense and furnished to the county as part of the war
historical work of the Council.”
