NOTE: This is NOT a duplicate of the record I sent out a few days ago.
This is actually another service record!

"TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, KNOW YE, That Anderson Pack, a Private of
Captain William B. Shackley Company (B), 45th KY Regiment of Mounted
Infantry Volunteers, who was enrolled on the Twelfth day of August one
thousand eight hundred and Sixty-three to serve one years or during the war,
is hereby DISCHARGED from the service of the United States, this Twenty
fourth day of December, 1864, at Catlettsburg, Kentucky by reason of
Expiration of term of Service (No objection to his being re-enlisted is
known to exist.*)

Said Anderson Pack was born in Lawrence County in the State of Kentucky, is
23 years of age; 5 feet 8 inches high, light complexion, light eyes, light
hair, and by occupation, when enrolled, a Farmer.

GIVEN at Catlettsburg, Ky this Twenty fourth day of December, 1864.

OATH OF IDENTITY

Anderson Pack of the town of __________ County of Lawrence in the State of
Ky.

On this 8 day of March in the year one thousand eight hundred and sixty-six
personally appeared before me, the undersigned, a Justice of the Peace for
the county and State above mentioned, Anderson Pack who, being duly sworn
according to law, declares that he is the identical Anderson Pack who was a
Private in the company commanded by Captain W. B. Shackley in the regiment
45th commanded by Col. J. M. Brown; that he enlisted on the 12th day of
August for the term of 12 months and was discharged at Catlettsburg on the
24 day of December 1864 by reason of Expiration of term of Service.

I CERTIFY that Walter Osborn before whom the above affidavit purports to
have been made, is a Justice of the Peace duly authorized to administer
oaths, and that the above is his signature.

seal, this 16 day of March in the year 1866 Done at Louisa, in the State of
Kentucky.

STATE OF KENTUCKY, LAWRENCE COUNTY, SCT.

I, R. Vinson, Clerk of the Lawrence County Court, and State aforesaid, do
hereby certify that the foregoing discharge of Anderson Pack a Private in
the United States Army, was this day produced to me in my office and filed
for record; whereupon the same, together with Oath of Identity and
certificate, and this certificate, have this day been duly recorded in my
office.

Given under my hand on this 16 day of March, 1866
