I found your Jeremiah on the LDS site with some dates. The volunteers
at the Mormon church at Oakdale Road in Modesto tell me the AF
(Ancestral Family) is about 70% - 80% accurate. The fellow who
submitted this lives in Lafayette, California, so you may be able to
contact him to ask for his sources. According to him, the Jeremiah who
married Mary Bridges was the son of

William Shorey PACK
Born: Abt. 1760
<Tater Creek, Polk Co., Tennessee>

and Elizabeth Lowery.

I think the "<" means "probable" in Ancestral Family listings - does
anyone know ?

Your source has Jeremiah's father as a Noah Pack. Hmmm - one of the
two is mistaken, unless William converted to a fundamentalist church
and changed his name.

I've never seen William Shorey before, so I think you are breaking new
PACK ground. Most of us on the list trace back to a Samuel Pack who
lived in what is now West Virginia.
