Obituary: Wilfred Elliott Kramer

Wilfred E. (Bill) Kramer, 64, Greensboro R.D.1, died in his home Thursday,
March 20, 1986.

He was born December 9, 1911, in Monongahela, son of the late Frank B. and
Mary Frances (Mayme) Elliott Kramer.

He had worked at the Duquesne Light Warwick Mine for 35 years, having
joined the company December 10, 1933. He was appointed chief clerk at the
mine in 1943 and held that post until his retirement in 1968. Following
retirement he was an insurance agent for Hartford of Connecticut and was
also a notary public.

Mr. Kramer was a member of Mapletowm United Methodist Church. Masonic
affiliations included membership in Masontown Lodge 459, the Lodge of
Perfection in Uniontown, Consistory of Pittsburgh and Syria Shrine in
Pittsburgh.

His wife, Virginia Halfin Kramer, whom he married July 20 , 1936, survives.

Also surviving are a son, Frank H. Kramer of Portage; two daughters, Mrs.
Dennis (Karen) Bobo of Sun Prairie, Wis., and Mrs. Stephen B. (Leah)
Martin, of Fairmont, W.Va.; seven grandchildren, Kevin and Sherry Kramer,
Brian, Brent and Lisa Bobo, and Stephen and Scott Martin; and a brother,
Delbert Kramer of Greensboro.

A sister, Virginia Boone, and a brother Ralph Kramer, are deceased.

In memory of Wilfred E. (Bill) Kramer

Wilfred E. (Bill) Kramer, age 74, of R.D. #1, Greensboro, died Thursday,
March 20, 1986 in his home, He was born December 9, 1911 in Monongahela,
Pennsylvania, son of the late Frank B. and Mary Frances (Mayme) Elliott
Kramer. He was a member of the Mapletown United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Virginia Halfin Kramer; one son, Frank H. Kramer;
two daughters, Mrs Dennis (Karen) Bobo and Mrs. Stephen B. (Leah)
Martin; one brother, Delbert Kramer; seven grandchildren, Kevin and Sherry
Kramer, Brian, Brent and Lisa Bobo, Stephen and Scott Martin. Deceased are
one sister, Virginia Boone and one brother, Ralph Kramer.

Funeral services will be conducted ad 1:00 P. M., Sunday, March 23, 1986 at
the Lucas and Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels. The Reverend Jerry
Williams will officiate. Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial
Park Cemetery.

Memorial Card: Frank Bryce Kramer

Frank Brice Kramer, aged 87 years, formerly of Greensboro, died at 12
o'clock noon Saturday, July 17, 1965 in Washington.

He was born August 22, 1877 at Greensboro, a son of the late John C. and
Sarah Southern Kramer.

His wife, Mayme Elliott S. Kramer, died in 1957.

Mr. Kramer lived in the Greensboro area for 50 years where he had served as
township auditor, supervisor and school board member.

He was a charter member and secretary for twenty-five years of the
Greensboro Volunteer Fire Company.

The cashier of the former People's Bank at Greensboro, Mr. Kramer was
active in lodges. Since 1900 he had been a member of the St. John Lodge
279, F. & A. M. of Pittsburgh; the Duquesne Royal Arch, 193; the Knights
Templar, Pittsburgh Commandary; the Valley of Pittsburgh Consistory; and
the Syria Shrine of Pittsburgh.

He was a member of the Greensboro Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are two sons, Wilfred E. Kramer and Delbert J. Kramer, both of
Greensboro, and a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Boone of Washington.

Also surviving are six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; one brother,
George R, Kramer of Greensboro and one sister, Mrs. Louise Cooper of New
Alexandria.

One Son, Ralph and one brother are deceased.

Correct name is Frank Bryce Kramer, born August 22, 1876. Mother was Sarah
Southard Kramer, wife was Mary Flora or Mary Frances Elliott Kramer. St.
John Lodge was number 219, not 279.

Frank Lemoyne Boone, aged 72 years, lifelong resident of Greensboro, died
at 6:45 p.m. Monday, September 27, 1954, in the home of a son, Ted Boone,
of Alicia, Greensboro, Pa.

Mr. Boone was born November 10, 1881, in Greensboro. He was a son of Joseph
and Susan Longstreth Boone. He was a carpenter by trade, but had been
retired for a number of years.

Surviving are his wife, Frances Stone Boone; three children, James Boone of
Washington, Ted Boone, Alicia, Greensboro, R.D., and Harold Boone, of
Greensboro; four brothers, Lawrence Boone, Daniel Boone and Eli Boone all
of Greensboro, and George Boone of Canonsburg; four sisters, Mrs. Sadie
Doty, of Greensboro; Mrs. Lucy Cannon, of Aliquippa, and Mrs. Lena
Eberhart, of New Geneva and eight grandchildren.

Memorial Card: Harold Vernon Boone

Harold V. Boone, Sr., aged 55 years, of Greensboro, died at 7:45 p.m.
Saturday, April 1, 1972, at the Washington Hospital.

He was born February 12, 1917 in Greensboro a son of the late Frank and
Frances Stone Boone. His wife, Juanita Neino Boone, survives.

Mr. Boone was a member of the Greensboro Baptist Church and spent all of
his life in the Greensboro area. He worked for U.S. Steel as a truck driver
at the Robena mines. He was a member of UMWA Local No 6321 at Robena.

He also served as a Republican Committeeman.

Surviving in addition to his wife is one daughter, Sherry Lynne at home;
one son, Harold Jr. of McKeesport; one grandchild; and several nieces and
nephews.

James F. Boone, aged 59 years of 308 Palomino Drive, Oakdale, died at 9:20
p.m. Thursday, January 2, 1969 of an apparent heart attack at Ohio Valley
General Hospital, McKees Rocks.

He was born July 17, 1909, at Greensboro, a son of the late Frank and
Frances Stone Boone. His wife, the former Virginia Kramer, preceded him in
death on February 28, 1967. He resided in Greensboro until 1941 when he
moved to Washington where he resided until 1967, when he moved to Oakdale
to live with his son.

He was a member of the Jefferson Avenue Methodist Church, Washington;
Teamsters Local Union 585, Washington and was employed by Nickle's Bakery.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. James (Joanne) Davie, of Aliquippa; one
son, Ralph, of Oakdale; six grandchildren and one brother, Harold, of
Greensboro.

One son is deceased.

Frances Virginia Boone, aged 53 years, of 145 Hall Avenue, Washington,
formerly of Greensboro, died at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, February 28, 1967 in the
Washington Hospital following a lingering illness.

She was born May 16, 1913 in Greensboro to the late Frank B. and Mayme
Elliott Kramer.

Surviving are her husband, James Franklin Boone; a son, Ralph F. Boone of
McDonald; a daughter, Mrs. James (Joanne Frances) Davie, of Aliquippa; six
grandchildren and two brothers, Wilfred and Delbert, both of Greensboro.

A son, James Elliott Boone and a brother, Ralph are deceased.

She was a member of the Jefferson Avenue Methodist Church in Washington,
where she had lived for the past 26 years.

Mrs. Frank B. Kramer, aged 80 years of Greensboro, R.D., died at 5 p.m.
Friday, October 4, 1957, in Greene County Memorial Hospital of a cerebral
hemorrhage.

Mrs. Kramer was born January 30, 1877, in Monongahela, a daughter of Henry
and Elizabeth Everett Elliott. She lived in Greensboro for the last 43 years.

She was a member of the Greensboro Presbyterian Church and a charter member
of the now defunct Amaranth, of Point Marion.

She was the last of her family.

Surviving are her husband, Frank B. Kramer; two sons, Wilfred Kramer and
Delbert Kramer, both of Greensboro, R.D., and one daughter, Mrs. Virginia
Boone, of Washington.

Frances Adeline Boone, aged 79 years, of Washington, formerly of
Greensboro, died at 10:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, 1965, in Washington Hospital.

Mrs. Boone was born March 18, 1886, at Dunkard, a daughter of James and
Elizabeth Pride Stone. Mrs. Boone resided at Greensboro most of her life.
She was a member of the Greensboro Baptist Church.

Her husband, Frank Boone died in 1954.

She is survived by two sons, James, of Washington, and Harold, of
Greensboro; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister,
Mrs. Mary Wheeler, of Washington.

One brother and one sister are deceased.

Obituary: George Fleming Boone

George F. Boone, Lawrence, died Sunday, June 13, 1958, at 7:45 p.m., in the
Thomas Nursing Home, Canonsburg, where he was admitted June 11. He had been
seriously ill three weeks.

He was born in Greensboro, Greene County, August 18, 1879, a son of Joseph
and Susannah Longstreth Boone. He moved to Lawrence in October, 1913.

Mr. Boone was a well known carpenter by trade, retiring six years ago. He
was a member of the Carpenter's Union.

On March 1, 1903, he married Carrie McClure, who died August 1, 1910. He
then married Bertha Gundy, February 5, 1914, who died March 11, 1948.

Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Anna Howard, Canonsburg R.D. 2;
Elva, wife of William E. Baker, Canonsburg D.R. 2; Donald Gundy, Lawrence;
Raymond Boone, Lawrence; Nelson Boone, Canonsburg; and Herbert L. Boone, at
home. Also surviving are six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren;
two brothers, Eli Boone and Lawrence Boone, both of Greensboro; three
sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Anderson, Bloomsburg; Mrs. Lena Eberhart, New Geneva,
and Mrs. Lucy Cannon, Aliquippa. One sister and four brothers are deceased.

Obituary: George Reppert Kramer
Kramer, George Reppert-
Age 92 of Greensboro, drowned accidentally on Friday, Aug. 3, 1970 at 7:40
p.m. He was born March 27, 1881 at Greensboro, a son of the late John
Christian and Sarah Southard Kramer. He attended the Pittsburgh schools, a
graduate of Duff's Business College. He was a real estate and insurance
broker, a descendant of Christian Kramer and George Reppert, members of old
Glassworks Company, treasurer of Greensboro Borough, Presbyterian by faith,
a member of F&AM Knights Templar, Pittsburgh Commandery, Syria Shrine of
Pittsburgh, Washington-Greene County Caravan, and a charter member of the
Greensboro Volunteer Fire Dept. His wife, Bessie Dillinger Kramer preceded
him in death on Nov. 6, 1956. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Austin
(Vera) Watson of R.D. 1 Waynesburg and Mrs. Frederick (Melba) Downey of
Rockville, Md.; three grandchildren: Capt. Frederick Michael Downey II,
George Kramer Downey, and Vera Katherine Downey; one great-granddaughter,
Dawn Colleen Downey. Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
Friends are being received in the Michael Lucas Funeral Home, Carmichaels,
today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where services will be held Tuesday at 11
a.m. with Rev. Paul Markovits officiating. Interment will follow in Greene
County Memorial Park.
