The oldest photograph I am aware of is Daniel Green Perdue son of Daniel
Perdue and Prudence Ward.....Dr. Lee Alton Absher (deceased) was in
possession of this and included a copy in his book "Some Early Settlers of
Upper Sumner Co., Tennessee"......there are photos of Perdues(descendents of
Meshack)on Sumner Co., Page of USGENWEB......my father descends from Daniel
Perdue and Prudence Ward and when young bore striking resemblence to Daniel
Green Perdue brother of his ancestor Lee Perdue....hope this helps.....Janet
