Hello list! I can't believe that I haven't found this list before, given my
obsession with the PIATTs...call it an error, but I'm here to join the fun
now!

I'm descended from Daniel PIATT (the Rev War Captain) through his son Robert.

Robert m Nancy JONES in 1798 in Kentucky, their son Daniel m Elizabeth CAIN
in 1828.

Asael, the son of Daniel and Elizabeth, m Elizabeth Collier PAYNE in 1867,
and their daughter Julia Bryan PIATT was my great grandmother. Asael is also
occasionally called Oscar (in the census) and Augustus...

I have a little web page for my PIATTs,

and I have been collecting the Kentucky Census records for PIATTs (and any
variations of spelling, PYOTT, PYEATT, PIAT, etc, as I find them). I would
love to hear from anyone with PIATTs in Kentucky, as I'm willing to be we all
link somewhere!
