Hello cousins?, I remember reading about him in this book, Ship Passenger
Lists New York and New Jersey (1600-1825), edited and indexed by Carl
Boyer, 3rd.....I will type the only paragraph written.

Reune Piatt, a native of Dauphiny, France, fled to Holland and later came to
America, settling at Piscataway before 1680. the N.J. Archives state that in
the early deeds he is designated as "Reune Piatt, alias La Flower". Letters
of administration of October 16 1705, granted to his widow, Elizabeth, give
his name as Reyneer (Regnier) Peatt, alias "Le Flure" of Piscataway. His son
John was of Somerset County..... This came from page 231, in book and taken
out of the ,"Huguenots in New
Jersey" references listed in book where info was found, ( Albert F. Koehler,
"The Huguenots of Early French in New Jersey, Bloomfied, N.J., 1955 [Lancour
No. 112]. There are 15 pages written about the Huguenots.

I remembered this, (I own the book), because I also am researching the name
Piatt, My connection is...My grd mother Bessie Williams, her mother Florence
Armfield, married to Frank Williams, Her mother Elizabeth Hannah Piatt, brn
July 31, 1828 in Ohio, was married to Isaac Armfield, Elizabeth's died in
12-27-1914 in Portland OR. This all the info i have. Do you know how they
connect or have any other info that would help me? Glad to find you! PS.
Elizabeth's daughter Florence was born in Montfort WI. May 1869. Hope to
hear from you!
