James PIATT and Mary Donaghan (DONAHO) were married 1 Aug 1805 at New
Providence Presbyterian Church in Rockbridge Co VA. Bondsmen were James Peatt
& Jno Donaghoe alias Jno W Donaugh. They posted the marriage bond on 17 Jul 1805.
They moved from there to Delaware Co OH, Bartholomew Co IN, Jasper Co IN, and
finally Clinton Co IN.

Likely children of James and Mary Donahue Piatt are ?Henry?, Benjamin, ?John?,
James, Jackson, Admiral, William, Martha Ann, Philip H, and Sarah C.
James Piatt was a veteran of the War of 1812 and received a pension for his
service. The parents of James Piatt have not yet been established nor his
birthplace, other than New Jersey.
