Several years ago a Piatt researcher suggested the following for my
line.

John Pyott m. Deborah Brunson
Amos Pyott m. Juliann Engles
Jacob Pyatt m. Elizabeth Dunston
David Piatt m. Ruth Sharp
William Sharp Piatt m. Ida Pearl Grable
Joseph H. Piatt m. Pauline C. Carpinelli

Now we recognize that there are errors in this and the ones I'm
concerned with are Amos, John and Deborah.

Mary Eblen who married John Pyott, Jr., first known child born in l784,

was dismissed from the Fairfax Monthly Meeting at the time Amos was
born, August l4, l77l for fornication and marrying out of Unity.

John, Sr., provided for Amos (not called son) in the Will of l787 and
named an outsider to administer the Will. It did not happen, John, Jr.,
administered the Will and very likely cheated Amos of his inheritence.
Amos was apprenticed to William Paxton, Overseer of the Poor at age l8.
A Pyott m. Mary Eblen as she was being dismissed from The Fairfax
Monthly Meeting. Was it John, SR., John, Jr., or Ebenezer?
