Do you have siblings for John?

I have Benjamin Peatt, son of James, b. ?, probably in Augusta or Rockingham
Co, VA ; died in St Louis MO while serving with Co D, 67th Reg't Indiana

who married in Augusta Co (but records are found in Rockingham Co
courthouse)

Rachael McWilliams, dau of John and Margaret Fisher McWilliams,
b. abt. 1805
d. 1901

They removed to Ohio. Stayed there long enough to have at least one child,
Charles C, but maybe 4 children, and then went on to Bartholemew Co
Indiana.

There were 8 children. The 4 known are Charles C, Sarah, David and Eliza.

Rockingham was split off from Augusta Co. I found while in the Rockingham
Co courthouse that a lot of marriages in Augusta Co can be found in
Rockingham.

I'm researching the McWms line but also trying to get info on any lines
connecting through marriages. I am in touch with a direct descendant of
Benjamin Piatt / Pyatt / Peatt but he is unable to do research at this time.
