Hi Dee,
Yes, this William was born and lived in Lycoming County, PA. and he had no
connection to my knowledge to the Virginia people. Many of these Piatts' of
Lycoming are buried in Piatt Penny Hill Cemetery and the Washington Cemetery
which is right along side of the old Piatt farm. I have been there many
times.
Some people may know that this original Piatt farm is now the Allenwood
Federal Prison and they own the whole farm. It is located on RT. 15 going
toward Williamsport, PA.
