This marriage record is SO important to me. Thank you, thank you, thank
you! A cousin in the McWms line insists that the maiden name of Isabellla
is Merritt and offers proof from her family Bible that was copyrighted AFTER
the marriage. I went to Rockingham courthouse to get this marriage but only
found the info recorded in the marriage book, not the certificate.

Did you order all of these certificates from LVA (Library of VA)? I need to
know how you got these, where to write, whom to write, etc. so I can get
copies for my records.

All of these marriages you've sent are so important and you are just a gem
for sharing so much.

This John McWms, Jr. is the brother of Rachael McWms who m. Benjamin
Piatt/Pyatt.
