I have to look in my notes......if I can find them......but from memory, I
think it was Ohio Co, West Virginia. And of course, WV would have been VA
in 1784 but not sure if Ohio Co was until I look at a map of that time and
see where Ohio Co was located.

I was trying to find more on Jacob myself after finding him in 1784 but got
involved in packing boxes. I am using records I find online from
genealogylibrary.com and also from GenWeb archives for VA and WV. I visited
both sites again last night and didn't find this record so I'll have to keep
hunting 'til I find the site where I found the info. I also use
Ancestry.com.

I'm so delighted with finding so much so quickly on Piatt/Pyatt. Have
received so much help from this list.
