Hello,
I am trying to determine if the WILLIAM PYATT who married DEANNER HORNSBY in
Burnet County, TX, Apr 8, 1853 is my William
Pyatt who was married (probably TX) c1852/1853 to Dianna ?. We have his
line, but, need something on Dianne born c1836
in Mississippi. The only other thing that we know about her is that her
father was born in MS and her mother was born in VA.
We have William & Dianna back in Ste Genevieve Co, Missouri (where he moved
with parents JACOB and OLIVIA McCLURE PYATT and brother JAMES BENTON and
ANDREW McCLURE - San Saba, Texas c1844) by 1860
and then lose them again after the 1880 Jefferson Co, MO census. Several of
their sons married in Shannon Co, MO between
1880 and 1886. The only other clue that we have as to where Wm and Dianna
might have gone is the reference to Wm D Pyatt and wife Diana living in
Tulsa, OK, on the civil war record that was a confederate soldier from
McClardy's Regiment - a Missouri unit. Their children were: ROBERT b: c1853
TX; OLIVIA/ELIZABETH b: c1855 MO; CATHERINE b: c1858 MO; GEORGE W b: c1860
MO; JOHN b: c1862 MO; MICHAEL C b: c1864 MO; WILLIAM C b: c1867 MO; MARY ANN
b: c1869 MO; FRANK C b: c1871 IL; NANCY b: c1874 MO; WASHINGTON BYRD b: Jan
3, 1876 MO; and AGNES b: Feb 1880 MO .If you have any information to
identify the couple in this marriage - please contact me. Also, we have no
further info on Olivia/Elizabeth; Catherine; Nancy or Agnes. We have only
sketchy info on John; Michael; William and Frank (Robert and Mary Ann died
young and we have descendants of George W and Washington Byrd). Thanks,
